Trashfire Star owes its existence to the gravitational force of songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Josh Davis and Robert Hanley Tortora. Their playful chaos attracted singer-songwriter Melissa Antunes Dudek past the event horizon. The resulting low-fi indie-rock sound is melodic, experimental, and unadorned.
